Motor Gathering

About the Event

The Motor Gathering is hosted at the Vancouver Island Motorsport Circuit.
4063 Cowichan Valley Hwy, Cowichan, BC

August 25th

The Vancouver Island Motor Gathering is a fun-filled family event showcasing an array of classic, unique, modern and custom cars and motorcycles for enthusiasts of all ages.

After sponsoring the European Car Picnic for close to 20 years, the GAIN Group knew it was time to create something fresh, exciting and different to allow all motorists of all makes, models and genres to come together at one common ground to celebrate their passion for the automobile.

In 2012 we hosted our first Motor Gathering in support of the Children’s Health Foundation of Vancouver Island, almost doubling that in 2013 with over $52,000 raised. The 7th annual Motor Gathering has come to a close, and we are incredibly thankful to everyone and the public for coming out and helping us raise $186,218 in cash donations!

With the help and generosity of all our wonderful sponsors, volunteers, registrants and many spectators, the Vancouver Island Motor Gathering has helped numerous families on the island and we strive to grow that with each and every year.

The 8th annual Vancouver Island Motor Gathering will be held on August 25th, 2019 at the Vancouver Island Motorsport Circuit.

We will continue our efforts to support our local community and we encourage you to come out with your families, enjoy an afternoon of fun all whilst witnessing a showcase of some of the most beautiful cars and motorcycles the west coast has to offer.

Categories subject to change at any time without notice.
**A minimum standard applies for all category winners: the winning cars must drive and run well, but might have some incorrect parts. These cars are ready for a long tour without excuses, and the casual passerby will not find any visual flaws. "Good" is the one word description that will represent the minimum standard required of the winning vehicles. Please note we reserve the right to not award a winner within a specific category if they do not fit within these standards. For example, if there is only one car in the category, it does not make that entrant the automatic winner. The vehicle will still be required to have the applicable criteria in order to qualify and win.
